Jacob Lant

Jacob Lant, is the Chief Executive National Voices.

Jacob is a committed advocate for working with people using health and care services to help improve the accessibility and quality of the care they receive. He loves to combine deep qualitative insights with quantitative data to challenge traditional thinking on how to tackle policy issues. In 2024 he was asked by the Government to co-chair one of the vision workstreams for the NHS 10 Year Plan, helping to shape how the NHS will become truly equitable by 2035. Prior to joining National Voices, Jacob spent almost 10 years helping to build the Healthwatch network, during which time he led successful national policy influencing campaigns on a huge variety of topics. He has also worked in local Government and for the British Library.
